A true Silver Lining story…

I love sunsets and planned to be ready for a spectacular one last October as my Mom and I waited at the Wupatki ruins on the edge of the Painted Desert in Arizona. So when clouds rolled in behind the mountains and blocked the beautiful pastels and blazing sun as it sank into the horizon, I was dismayed. Instead to my surprise, the sun backlit the clouds and now, for as far as the eye could see, a ripple of silver glowed brilliantly along the edge of the cloud’s outline. Minute by minute this vision changed and I knew that I was witnessing something unique and special.

Six months later my career took a new direction and I was fortunate to be able to dedicate myself to creative ventures. As I looked through my photos I saw the above sunset and Silver Lining Sentiments was born.

With insight from friends and family, this card idea grew to include sentiments describing the emotions that flowed from each photo. It then became clear that pairing these photos with granite bases would be the perfect match. My Mom and I chiseled and hammered the granite, while my son cut the grooves for the glass.

Every step of the creation of this product has had the gift of friends and family encouraging, molding and believing in it. I hope as you take time to read the cards and view the photos you’ll feel all that love and support.
